The Michael Cuccione Foundation announced that the 12th Annual Kick For A Cure has put them over the threshold of over $1.4 million since the conception of Kick For A Cure. Funds raised will benefit the Michael Cuccione Childhood Cancer Research Program (MCCCRP) at BC Children’s Hospital. What an amazing accomplishment and we, at Canada Scaffold, are so proud and honoured to have been part of this event!
“This is an especially exciting time as the MCCCRP with the groundbreaking initiative as we prepare to offer the clinical trial CAR-T cell immunotherapy at BC Children’s hospital. This treatment has helped to save 3 children that would have no hope this year. They use the child’s own immune system to kill the cancer with no chemo or radiation. This is revolutionary as it will offer hope to children with leukemia and lymphoma who are not successfully treated by other means and it does so with fewer side effects.” Gloria Cuccione
We can’t wait until next year and have the honour of being a proud sponsor once again! For more information on The Michael Cuccione Foundation, or to make a donation, please visit www.childhoodcancerresearch.org.
