Scaffold Erector/Supervisor - Full time, Permanent
Canada Scaffold Supply Co. Ltd is looking for a full-time, permanent Scaffold Supervisor. This position will supervise and coordinate projects and labourers. The right candidate will be part of the team that takes care of scaffold installation and dismantling in a service-oriented, fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
You have a minimum of a high school diploma, are mechanically inclined, and demonstrate a high degree of initiative. You have 5+ experience in the scaffold industry and at least 1 year of experience in the supervisory role. You are physically fit, a motivated self-starter who is able to follow directions, work well with others and contribute positively to a team environment. You are reliable and punctual at all times, with excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills and are able to work with minimal supervision. You have strong English (language of work) skills.
The successful candidate will be required to work outdoors and must be comfortable working at heights. You must have a valid driver’s license and present a clean drivers abstract, demonstrate the ability to safely drive automatic and standard transmissions vehicles. You will need to supply your own hard hat and work boots; Canada Scaffold will supply all personal protective equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinator the activities of installers and labourers
- Driving, delivering and picking up orders from job sites
- Shop work, cleaning and maintaining equipment along with preparing orders
- Writing up contracts, labor reports, toolbox meetings, safe work procedures and fall protection plans
- Assisting with the installation/dismantling of scaffolding
- Promote and demonstrate a safe work environment
- Work closely with engineers

Canada Scaffold Supply is looking for a full-time Labourer and Erector for the Swing Stage Division. You will work in a dynamic team in our growing Swing Stage Division. This is an excellent entry level position with opportunities for training and progression.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspecting and cleaning swing-stage equipment on-site;
- Assisting with delivery and pick-up from customer sites;
- Erecting swing-stage (training will be provided);
- Obtaining orders through email and telephone calls and verifying/entering items;
- Provide excellent customer satisfaction as the first point of contact for clients on the phone or in person;

Administrative Assistant - Full time, Permanent
Canada Scaffold Supply Co. Ltd. is looking for a full-time, permanent Administrative Assistant. This position holds a position of responsibility and provides proactive administrative support and project coordination. The position works closely with the corporate clients, vendors and employees. This is highly confidential administrative work and the successful candidate will be comfortable multi-tasking and working in a busy environment.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains and organizes confidential files;
- Financial management support, including expense reimbursements, credit card receipts, reconciliations, and end-of-year preparation;
- Drafts letters, reports, and business correspondence for existing/potential clients;
- Manages calendars and appointments;
- Organizes all domestic and international travel needs; compiles all necessary documents for travel-related meetings; Manages courier requests;
- Oversees all administrative requests/tasks from senior management team.
TO BE THE BEST FIT FOR THIS POSITION, YOU NEED:
- Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience
- Minimum 6 months experience in the scaffold or general construction industry
- Ability to write business correspondence and general business documentation;
- Ability to work under pressure with multiple timelines and with limited direction and supervision;

Events General Labourer - Part-Time
This position will assist with our Events division in the installation/dismantling of event tents, stages, bleachers and fencing.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the installation/dismantling of tents, stages, bleachers, fencing
- Work from mobile elevated work platforms
- Promote and demonstrate a safe work environment
- Prepare materials prior to assembly
- Transporting equipment and gear to and from job sites by truck
We will train entry level candidates 19 years of age and older who are without experience as long as they are a team player, are fit and possess a desire to rise to challenges presented by the job.
